Recovering account access
First try another device with your saved passkey, or restore access through your passkey provider. Apple, Google and other password managers have their own recovery procedures.
If you saved an account recovery code from Security, choose Use a recovery code. The code can be used once and allows you to create a replacement passkey. Your previous passkeys and sessions are invalidated. After signing in, save a new recovery code.
If neither option works, choose Request recovery assistance. Contact support with the request reference. Support must establish account ownership before approving recovery; an email request alone is insufficient. Do not send passkeys or recovery codes to support. Recovery is not guaranteed when ownership cannot be established.
Your organisation’s administrator may restore workspace membership to a newly registered account after verifying your identity. This does not recover the old personal account or access to other workspaces.
Platform administrators use their independently stored hardware backup and the platform’s controlled emergency procedure.
